Some people think that tournaments like Euro 2016 are all about celebrating football but really it's about so much more than that.
For Irish people it's also about getting the chance to celebrate other key parts of our culture. Such as our musical prowess.
U2, Enya, Thin Lizzy, The Corrs - Ireland has such a rich history of musicians that left their mark on the world stage that it's only natural that they'd want to remind fans from other countries about this fact while mixing with them at events like this.
For an event like Euro 2016 though, one group of Irish fans felt that the aforementioned groups aren't really going to cut it for an impromptu karaoke session. Instead they chose to bring out the big guns - Westlife.
