In a hard-fought match, Ronda Rousey's reign as UFC's Women's Bantamweight Champion came to a stunning end last night.
Suffering a heavy defeat by knockout at the hands of Holly Holm, just two rounds into the match. Rousey was unable to lock in the armbar in the first round whilst Holm was more skilful with her punches than Rousey or anyone else expected.
However, victory was assured when Holm planted a serious kick behind the neck to Rousey 59 seconds in that dropped Rousey to the mat before Holm capitalised and finished her off.

Pretty rough as you can imagine. Holm now becomes the second UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion in history, with Rousey's reign finally coming to an end.
It's not yet clear what Rousey's future in the sport will be, whether she'll continue on and hope to regain her title at a later date or if she'll finally draw a line under her fighting career and transition to a full-time actress.
What a kick, though. That'd make anyone think twice about getting back into it.
