YouTube yesterday unveiled the viral videos and music videos that trended and were watched the most in Ireland in 2016 and it's one hell of a list.
It comes as a surprise to no one that Adele's 'Carpool Karaoke' comes in at number one on YouTube's Irish list of top trending videos of 2016, but we have to admit surprise at some of the other entries, particularly that the John Lewis ad that's barely a month old made it to number two.
Saoirse Ronan makes the list not once but twice for her appearances on late night shows in the US (teaching Stephen Colbert an Irish accent and Fallon all about lock-ins) while Conor McGregor's victory speech after UFC 205 also sneaks in there alongside Boogie Storm from 'Britain's Got Talent' and Pauric O'Meara's 'Maniac 2000' audition on 'The Voice of Ireland'.
Unfortunately not everything on the list is entertaining, (a nun being harassed on a train by football fans is not comfortable viewing for anyone who's ever been in a similar position before) but by and large it's a top notch list of the videos that made us smile, laugh and/or feel all the feels.
Here's the list in full.
