What's it like to come to Ireland from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles and how does Dublin compare? Pretty favourably it turns out.
We Irish love to complain, pretty much all the time, about everything, especially where we live. if it isn't the rain and the cold it's the heat and the lack of rain. We're never happy. However, we still have people coming to visit and live in our country, and a lot of them quite like it.
One of those people is Clara Baez Morandi who moved here two years ago from America, and she's pretty happy here. In fact, she loves it, and decided to make a little video in tribute to Dublin, the city where she lives, detailing 11 of her favourite things about life in Ireland. Keep in mind, this is from someone who came over from the biggest of the big shmokes, only Los bleedin' Angeles, and she thinks our capital city isn't really all that bad.
From the usual suspects like a pint of Guinness to ones that are less obvious and we might not notice, this is a pretty great rundown of why living in Ireland is unique, and pretty special, something that we might forget when we're stuck in the daily grind.
Still, that rain though...
