Although we covered it late last night, this is too much of a feel-good story not to mention it again. Plus, look at that weather - we all need a bit of cheeriness.
Glen Hansard of The Frames and formerly The Commitments joined Ed Sheeran onstage at Croke Park for a rendition of the old trad song, The Auld Triangle.
Sheeran, who's a fan of The Dubliners, gave quite a decent bash at playing the song alongside Kodaline, but the real highlight of the night was Jason Boland's surprise proposal to his longtime girlfriend, Etaoin Corr.
Here's the video in full, complete the proposal towards the end.
Ah, bless. You'd have to wonder if Sheeran knew about it beforehand because it's quite the thunder-stealer.
He was probably sound with it, in fairness. Jesus, though - what if she said no? WHAT IF SHE ACTUALLY SAID NO?
So @EtaoinCorr said yes :-) pic.twitter.com/GeU92Q8THb
