Watch: First look at rebooted Star Wars Battlefront

We've been hungering for a glimpse at EA / DICE's Battlefront, but thanks to Star Wars Celebration, we have it at last.

The trailer, which uses game engine footage, sees a thrilling battle on Endor, the forest moon setting from Return of the Jedi.

And who turns up at the end? Oh, nobody - just DARTH VADER STEPPING OUT THE WRECKAGE OF A DOWNED AT-AT.

Sorry, got excited there. As you can imagine, the Internet's gone into a tizzy over this latest footage.

A release date's been confirmed for November 17th, which will tie in nicely with The Force Awakens release on December 18th.

As well as this, it's also been confirmed that a great many levels and stages will be join the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, so that's something else to look forward to.
