For her part, Stone wants you to know she had her envelope in her hand the entire time.
Last night's major Oscar screw-up over the awarding of Best Picture is all anyone is talking about today, especially for those closest to the event.
Emma Stone was one of the first to speak about the mix-up, arriving backstage to the press room for her post-Best Actress in a Leading Role win for 'La La Land' and immediately wanted to clear the air about any wrongdoing on her part, telling the press "I don’t mean to start stuff, but whatever story that was — I had that card."

'Moonlight' director Barry Jenkins has also said that he wasn't given any explanation about what happened and that he was 'speechless' about the whole debacle but that it "made a very special feeling even more special, but not in the way I expected."
