A new video featuring the likes of Emma Stone and Julianne Moore among other celebrities and well-known names has just been released as part of a campaign calling for stricter gun laws in the United States.
The call for action is being made in the wake of the tragic mass shooting which occurred at a music festival in Las Vegas earlier this month. 58 people were killed while more than 500 were injured by a gunman.
Stars including Elizabeth Banks, Jack Antonoff, Sheryl Crow, Adam Scott, Melissa McCarthy, Kathryn Hahn, Zazie Beetz, John Slattery, Samuel Harris, Cynthia Rowley, Moby, Natalie Morales and Laura Dern explain how Americans can contact congressional lawmakers to reject the National Rifle Association's (NRA) agenda. This agenda includes efforts to roll back gun silencer safety laws and to pass “Concealed Carry Reciprocity.”
Emma opens the clip, stating: "The mass shooting in Las Vegas has left all of us grieving, scared, and angry." Actor Bill Hader continues, "Knowing what to do about it can be confusing. Here's one thing that can make a difference right now." "Put the safety of all American first. We should not make it easy for people with dangerous histories to buy silencers," adds Julianne.
