Domhnall Gleeson, never change.
The actor appeared on Seth Meyers’ talk show last night to promote his new film Goodbye Christopher Robin. After some obligatory chatter about the new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Gleeson plays General Hux in the movie, but doesn’t feature in the trailer itself), the two talked about his latest film, which sees him play Winnie the Pooh author A. A. Milne.
Gleeson adorably talks about how he couldn’t stop laughing on set at the word Pooh and how his co-star Will Tilston, who is a child, would tell him to get himself together.
The Irish thespian also talked about his father, Brendan Gleeson – adding in a nice little plug for his new show, Mr Mercedes – and detailed an awkward, surreal experience which involved accepting awards on Brendan and Tom Hardy’s behalves.
