As one of the NHL's biggest celebrity fans, it's no surprise that Cuba Gooding Jr. was invited to host their awards last night.

However, the resulting show was a little bit weird, where Cuba verged between being incredibly boring and monotone to suddenly shouting random stuff, talking about making a "double stuff reverse oreo" with NHL legend and all-round charity-work-doing good guy Mark Messier and Former New York Ranger Adam Graves, and finally, pretending to hit a kid on the head, amongst some other strange moments.

Is it really weird? Yes. Can we stop watching? Not really. Of course, Cuba is known for his cahrismatic personality and his off-the-wall sense of humour, so there's a good chance that this is what he's like all the time. He must be a handful at dinner parties.
