Bono on BOD. Now there's a prospect that you're about to witness. And Brian O'Driscoll couldn't look happier / more morto if he tried...

In a snippet of audio the BBC managed to get out of Bono, he says of BOD: "When I think of Brian O'Driscoll, I think of the number 13, and how lucky it's been for us Irish. I also think of the 13 times Brian has had his nose broken, not so lucky for him. But, above all of that, I think of leadership. I think of Brian O'Driscoll as a great leader... one of the rarest resources in this world." BRIAN FOR TAOISEACH!

Brian managed to squeeze a few words out after listening to the audio, and he said "That was really cool, and one of the serious perks of being a Paddy, and having one of the biggest bands in the world being really proud of their roots."

Saw what you like about U2 - without them our most famous musical exports would be the disbanded Westlife and Daniel O'Donnell. Yep, I'm repeating myself, but it's worth repeating.
