The street artist Banksy has traveled to Gaza to make a documentary about the conditions in which people there are living, and his work in the war-torn region.
Typical of his style, the trailer takes aim at several targets, first lampooning the typical travel and tourism campaign slogans that invite consumers to travel to a new place and discover the hidden treasures therein, before showing POV footage of him entering the region through a series of man-made tunnels.
The official Banksy Instagram account had an image up as a teaser for the documentary, while this short trailer was released on his website along with several images of the art he has done there, much of which was captured in the clip.
Speaking on his site, Banksy explained why he chose the image of the kitten: "A local man came up and said 'Please - what does this mean?' I explained I wanted to highlight the destruction in Gaza by posting photos on my website – but on the internet people only look at pictures of kittens."
