It's day three of doughnut-licking-gate (that's not a doughnut licking a gate, rather Ariana licked a doughnut, said she hated America and the rest is not quite history yet). And that can only mean one thing - a video apology.
For those unwilling to commit to watching 4 minutes of Ariana saying "sorry babes", here is the general gist of her message: "Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly, that you have no idea was taken, is such a rude awakening... It's like you don't know what to do. I was so disgusted with myself. I shoved my face in a pillow and wanted to disappear. I reacted in a way that wasn't necessary, to say the least, but also just wasn't me at all. I apologize for my poor choice of words and for my behavior... Seeing how ugly it looks when you behave a certain way makes you want to never behave that way again.
She continues: "I made a mistake, and I'm being judged for it. I understand because I watched it, and I was just as disappointed in myself," said Grande. "I'm 22 years old. I'm human. I've still got a lot to learn, and I make mistakes, and that's how I'm going to learn. I'm going to learn from my mistakes and learn by messing up, and that's how we grow.... Not here to make any excuses or justify my behavior because I can't. I'm just here to apologize."
As for the reaction she's received from fellow celebrities, well, Susan Sarandon wants to start a doughnut-licking movement...
Today, lick a doughnut in solidarity with @ArianaGrande. A sweet, talented, true American. ðŸÂÂÂ?©ðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸

Rob Lowe, meanwhile (if you were born post 1995 you may need to google him), wasn't as receptive to her apology...
As my grandpa would say: "Yeah, sure. Pull the other leg, it plays jingle bells!" #Lame https://t.co/4rnj6e4ZYa

If you're going to throw shade, Rob, you may want to get the name right first. #JustSaying.
