The two actors dated back in 2012 after they met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man (for which they played couples on-screen).

Both attended the Golden Globes last Sunday and Andrew was praised for giving his ex-girlfriend a standing ovation when she went up to receive her Best Actress (Comedy/Musical) award at the ceremony.

 

The star of Silence and Hacksaw Ridge has since spoken on Vanity Fair’s LittleGoldMen podcast and had nothing but good things to say about his co-star (who on Golden Globes night had a hilarious reaction to finding out he kissed Ryan Reynolds), saying that he’s her ‘biggest fan as an artist’ and is ‘constantly inspired by her’:

 

We’d love to see them get back together because they are so darn adorable but if they don’t, we’d at least love to see future break-ups across the celeb world (and in our own lives) be this amicable!
