Star Wars Battlefront is a game that has already hotly anticipated, and this gameplay footage released at E3 won't help to dampen expectations.
E3 is underway this week, and the gaming world will be packed with news for the next few days. Today, the attention turns to the Star Wars franchise, as we got a glimpse at some gameplay footage (from PS4) from the long-awaited Star Wars Battlefront.
The game promises to allow huge battles of up to 40 players, where you can choose to side with the Rebels or the Imperial Forces, and this trailer sees the action cut between the two sides during the Battle of Hoth. It features AT-ATs, AT-STs, Tie Fighters, X-Wings, as well as Darth Vader himself, and the reception so far has been hugely positive.
That wasn't the only trailer released for the game yesterday either, as we also got a look at another mode that the game will have, called "survival", where you get hit with wave after wave of increasingly difficult enemies.
In the best possible way, this game is somewhat reminiscent of one of our favourite titles of all time, Shadows of the Empire on the Nintendo 64, so suffice to say we'll be buying this when it comes out.
