Brighid and Paddy are a couple from Louth that have been married for 50 years, and they want to spread the message that everyone should be able to have the chance to experience what they have.
The upcoming referendum on same-sex marriage, which takes place on May 22nd, has already seen plenty of people speaking in favour of the 'yes' campaign, but this message from Brighid and Paddy is one of the more powerful ones.
They outline that they are devout Catholics, but that they believe the most Christian thing to do is to vote yes, and that everyone should "have the opportunity to experience the love, protection and companionship we have experienced".
