Don't mind us, we're just cellotaping earmuffs to our heads and not taking them off outdoors ever again.
Fox 5 DC reporter Bob Barnard was reporting from the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History because it's Museum Week there, and having handled a tarantula earlier in the day probably thought he was in for an easier time with an African Moon Moth. But no, that was not going to happen, as it crawled into his ear and made a little deposit or two.
To be fair to Barnard, he seems to have taken the whole thing quite well.
That African Moon Moth on my ear on live TV laid two eggs! (Yuck) It's #MuseumWeek @NMNH @fox5newsdc pic.twitter.com/W6BSGKrRsR

We'd be neck deep in a bath of disinfectant with a snorkel on if that were us.
