The veteran designer, who acted as a consultant in the first Sex and The City movie, was delighted to learn there's been talk of a sequel - as she just happens to have a few plot line ideas:
"No one has mentioned that (anything about another movie) to me as of yet but I will tell you that I have had a great idea for the plot of a sequel. It came to me only the other day and I think it's a brilliant story. I've been trying to get hold of Sarah Jessica Parker to suggest it but I haven't managed to reach her so far. I'm probably too late if they're already talking about the sequel but I hope not as it's really rather a good idea. I'm not telling you any more until I've spoken to Sarah Jessica, though."
SJP will only be interested if Vivienne's idea involves her running around the streets of New York in some impossibly whimsical dress, followed by at least three pointless musical interludes in which more clothes are on show thanks to an impromptu fashion show and/or mood montage.
After turning off the first movie an hour and a half in (AKA after outfit change number 117), its clear anything resembling a storyline comes secondary to the parade of label adorned paraphernalia. Now, if I could afford the garments advertised *twirls in front of imaginary mirror*...
