Vanessa Paradis, Johnny Depp's former partner and mother of his two children, has penned an open letter in his support.
The letter, which was handwritten and signed by Paradis, claims that "...(in) all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years."
Paradis also said that the allegations made against Depp are "outrageous". Her letter also echoes other sentiments expressed by Paul Bettany, who said that he has "known Johnny Depp for years and through several relationships. He's the sweetest, kindest, gentlest man that I've ever known."
Meanwhile, a judge has granted a temporary restraining order against Depp, who will have to face a full court hearing on Heard's claims of repeated physical abuse against her. Amber Heard has claimed that Johnny Depp was repeatedly abusive towards her and, most recently, smashed an iPhone into her face. Heard was photographed leaving court after the restraining order was granted with a noticeable bruise on the side of her face.
Depp has not made any public statements since the restraining order was filed against him.
