Leonard Nimoy, the veteran actor best known to the world as Spock in seminal sci-fi series Star Trek, passed away from CPOD (chronic pulmonary obstruction disease) on Friday, February 27th. He was 83.
Although he was an accomplished actor, Nimoy also had a successful career both as a director and a photographer. His screen credits included 80s classic Three Men and a Baby and two Star Trek films, The Search For Spock and The Voyage Home.
