"Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball."
It's on everyone's lips at the moment, whether we like it or not - coronavirus. Following the spread of the virus in recent weeks, it has become a global pandemic, meaning that anyone could get infected - even Hollywood stars.
In the early hours of yesterday morning, news broke that actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson had tested positive to COVID-19 while in Australia. They have been the first celebrities to go public with their diagnosis.
Hanks is currently down under as he gets ready for Baz Luhrmann’s untitled Elvis Presley movie on The Gold Coast.
The couple's son, Chet Hanks, posted a video online regarding his parent's diagnosis saying "I don't think it's anything to be too worried about" and that he appreciates everyone's concern for the couple.
Hanks and Wilson have now given a brief update of their condition, which has put everyone's mind at ease.
Hanks said: "Hello folks. Rita Wilson and I want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else.
"There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time. There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no?
"Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball. Hanx."

The actor's sign-off in his statement is a reference to his 1992 movie'A League Of Their Own'. Here's the infamous scene in question.
Following the outbreak of coronavirus, many big-name movies have been delayed, including a number of Disney movies, 'No Time To Die', and 'A Quiet Place 2'.
