Swedish comedian Olaf Falafel took the honour this year
We love a good joke, and we also like vegetables - so when you combine the two, it's a winning combo, in our book.
It proved a winning combo for Swedish comedian Olaf Falafel too, as he won the award for 'Best One-Liner' at the Edinburgh Fringe festival.
Taken from his show 'It's One Giant Leek For Mankind at the Pear Tree', the joke was: "I keep randomly shouting out 'Broccoli' and 'Cauliflower' - I think I might have florets".
A panel of 10 judges drew up a shortlist and Falafel's joke won with 41% of a public vote.
He accepted the award with another humdinger, saying: "This is a fantastic honour, but it's like I've always said - jokes about white sugar are rare, jokes about brown sugar... demerara."
The other nine on the shortlist were pretty funny too, in fairness...
