Here's an event you don't see in Dublin everyday. Tonight, creative collective For The Love Of (FTLO) are teaming up with Shane Guerrini, the creative director of Dublin Ink (you know, the lads off Fade St.) to "curate some of the best canvas, preliminary, painting and illustrative work from tattoo artists from around the globe.". Oh and someone's getting tattooed live as part of the show.... Your usually Thursday evening then.
FTLO Perception kicks off at 6 in Ebow Gallery on Castle Street, with the above exhibition as well as tunes courtesy of Bantum, one of Dublin's fave DJs. Offering an alternate look at the work and art of the tattoo world, it's certainly a unique event, and if you've ever wanted to have a gawk at tattoos in the flesh without it being your flesh, it's the place to be.
