Such was the popularity of the recently released Inbetweener's film, there was always going to be a sequel - no matter how shoehorned.
Not at all borrowing from the American Pie franchise, the next Inbetweeners movie will be set at Neil's wedding. Yep, Neil's wedding. Neil's getting married. Yes, he can bodypop, but I'd still be more willing to entertain Will, Simon or Jay than Neil. Especially Jay. Don't ask why, you won't like the answer.
Some insider or other speaking to the Daily Mirror said: "Initially we said the characters and themes had reached a natural conclusion. But the success has been too big to ignore and it makes perfect sense to give the fans what they want. It would be much more viable than making an extra series because the characters have moved on, so that's what we're doing... The characters have all gone off and done different things but agree to hook up for his (Neil's) stag party and wedding."
