Kevin Richardson and his wife have welcomed their second child, readying a new line of Backstreet Boys for the next generation. But before we get there let's all pause on the most awkward photo opp of all time.
Absorb that for a minute. Okay, continue.
The Backstreet Boys singer and wife Kristin Kay Willits - who already have a six-year-old son Mason together - have announced the arrival of their second son Maxwell.
Kevin wrote on Facebook:
Kevin's bandmates Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean are overjoyed with the new arrival and couldn't wait to share the news with fans.
A message on the official Backstreet Boys Twitter account, says:
HUGE Congrats to the Richardson family!! We've got a new Backstreet Boy on our hands :) Can't wait to meet ya Maxwell! @kevinrichardson

Kevin departed the group in 2006, but reunited with them to record new music in London last summer.
Discussing Kevin's return, a source previously said: 'Kevin missed the rest of the guys, who he counts as brothers as well as bandmates, and felt now was the right time to return.'
