Yes, you read that headline correctly.
A new bar and restaurant has opened in the Fitzroy district of Melbourne, Australia that has one theme and one theme only - George Costanza from Seinfeld.
The iconic character, reportedly based on showrunner Larry David, now has his very own bar and restaurant that includes such delicacies on the menu like Summer of George (in reference to that episode when George gets his severance package from the Yankees and decides to become active) and The Hand Model (in reference to that time when George finds out he has model-worthy hands).
As it turns out, Jason Alexander himself - the guy who played Costanza - sent a tweet in support of the whole thing.
That's right - I may not have an Emmy, but I got me a bar in Melbourne, Australia. G'day, mates.

The bar is reportedly emblazoned with signed pictures of Jason Alexander as George Costanza and the walls are replete with Costanza quotes like "Everyone has to like me, I must be liked".
Can we get something similar over here? We know there was Phoenix Perk way back when, but what about a themed Frasier cafe? There has to be a Cafe Nervosa SOMEWHERE in the world, right?
