It's headed to England's capital and has been dubbed 'Infinity London'
A 360-degree infinity pool sitting atop a 55-story skyscraper in London is in the works.
The rooftop pool will hold 600,000 litres of water, say designers Compass Pools. The structure will be "the only building in the world to incorporate a 360-degree infinity pool."
'Infinity London' has been the name given to the building set.
The pool will be made from cast acrylic and features transparent sides and floors. Thus visitors below will be able to see swimmers splashing around above them.
To keep views pristine, there are no stairs on the outside of the pool or the building. Instead, a spiral staircase that rotates and rises through the water provides access for swimmers. Which is a bit mad, to be honest.
The overall tone on Twitter in response to the story was one of, well, cynicism.
We don't want an infinity pool, we want affordable housing

"World's first", like designers were trying for years and they could only manage 359 degrees until these people figured it out. https://t.co/2RQB1PSYKt

I cannot stand looking at it, but I keep looking at it. It makes me feel like my knees have disconnected.

We're loving the gaming comparisons anyway.

The general consensus? This is a terrible, terrible idea.
I would watch that film. All we need now is a storm approaching with high winds.

Now we just need for the building to also be on fire and for Dwayne Johnson to be in the movie. Or did they make that one already..
