Serious case of FOMO.

Friday night's historic performance from Stormzy would be a tough act to follow for most bands. But not, as it turned out, for The Killers.

The Las Vegas outfit proved they were more than capable of closing out the second day of proceedings at Worthy Farm with a set that featured The Smiths' iconic guitarist Johnny Marr, comedian Jimmy Carr and The Pet Shop Boys.

Twelve years after first headlining the festival, The Killers played through classics in their back catalogue such as Somebody Told Me, Smile Like You Mean It and Read My Mind.

Frontman Brandon Flowers then invited The Pet Shop Boys on stage for a cover of Gwen McCrae's You Were Always On My Mind and Human.

But it was the arrival on stage of Marr that made the night extra special. He played Smiths classic This Charming Man with Flowers standing in for Morrissey.

And as it turns out, Mr. Brightside not only gets a great response in Irish nightclubs, but also on the Pyramid Stage in Glastonbury, as you can see here.

The Killers performance won rave reviews online:

Glastonbury finishes tonight with performances from The Cure, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus and Vampire Weekend.
