The Blue Steel is characterised by a straight look into camera, while holding a solid and mesmerising glare, with the mouth closed or slightly open and is designed to give the viewer the impression that a person is glamorous and very important. The expression has always existed but since the film Zoolander highlighted the bizarre phenomenon and named it, the Blue Steel has taken on a whole new lease of life and is now one of the most popular expressions in the world.
The Academy Awards are a big deal for Blue Steelers as it is the biggest stage for celebs to showcase their respective Steels. Now, Zac is more well known for his singing abilities in High School Musical, but who knew that he had this level of Blue Steel ability. Ben Stiller himself would be proud of this. Class act.

The hair, the white suit, the dickie bow. Match that with this majestic Blue Steel and it's no wonder that Jared walked away with one of those little gold feckers under his arm, last night.

This really is top drawer Steeling. The 'Over The Shoulder Steel'. This level of ability is only achieved through hours of practice, people. One of the best of the night, for sure.

But, we've saved the best for last. This may not be the most eye pleasing or technically complex Steel you're ever going to see but it is definitely different, and that's worth a mention at the very least. You're an innovator Mr. Tyler, we love it.
