Billionaire, philanthropist, owns an AI robot named Jarvis. No we're not talking about Tony Stark.

In his latest effort to subtly hint to the world that he's trying to become Iron Man, Mark Zuckerberg is creating his very own AI named Jarvis (like Tony Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and has now got to the stage where he needs to find a voice for his new friend.

Iron Man himself has thrown his name into the hat already but had a pretty strange request for agreeing to do it.

Although, RDJ would be a dream candidate for most, we hope Zuckerberg doesn't pull the trigger just yet and consider all of his options. There are plenty of other great voices out there that we're sure would be more than willing to lend their time to the cause.

Here's our picks for the seven best candidates for the job.

1. Robert Downey Jr.

Well he's already thrown his name into the hat and Zuckerberg seems pretty enthused by the idea.

The real question is if Zuckerberg's Jarvis will be able to deliver enough wise cracks to be worth of RDJ's voice.

2. Benedict Cumberbatch

Arguably the most impressive part of Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy was Benedict Cumberbatch's turn as Smaug the dragon. The huge effort he put into the mo-cap end of things aside, you just get the sense that Cumberbatch is puts his whole essence behind the voice. If he brings half as much enthusiasm to Jarvis then Zuckerberg could be on to a winner.

3. Paul Bettany

He voiced the original Jarvis? Why not bring back for the real deal? As the video below shows, he loved getting paid a bag of money to lend his voice to Jarvis in Marvel movies.

4. Emma Thompson

If Zuckerberg wanted to go down the calming, reminds you of your favourite Aunt route then Thompson is the way to go. Thompson's voice would be authoritative for the job but also be able to convey just the right amount of snark to be entertaining as well as helpful.

5. Morgan Freeman

Because obviously.

6. Werner Herzog

Werner Herzog's documentaries are almost always interesting, but his narration makes them so much more engaging. Who wouldn't want to hear those Bavarian Alps forged tones answer complicated computer programming questions?

7.  Dame Judi Dench

Well, she is M. If Zuckerberg ever wanted to feel like Iron Man and James Bond at the same time then Dench is the way to go.
