It's a Christmas ad with a difference
If there's one thing we need right now, it's more ageing actors starring as the main man.
And so, without further ado, let us present to you Steve Carell as a rosy-cheeked, and stress-eating, Saint Nick. Does it seem like Michael Scott is Santa Claus? Just a little bit.
In the advert, Carell plays a Santa who is fresh out of ideas for what to give the children of the world this year for Christmas. And so, he enlists the help of his hard-working elves who must come up with original ideas to his problem.
Fusing elements of technology with that of traditions we go through each Christmas time - like a typical snowball fight - the elves come up with the goods, making Santa secure in his job for another year of festive cheer.
Given how popular Carell is, after playing one of the best worst bosses in 'The Office US', and how well this advert works, we wouldn't be surprised if there was a follow-up next year.
It's all a Christmas advert for Xfinity in the States. 'I, Tonya' director and Disney's upcoming 'Cruella' helmer Craig Gillespie directed the ad, and we have to say it's one of the best new entries we've seen this year.
