After surprising everyone but their nearest and dearest by getting married at the weekend, Stephen Fry and his new husband Elliott Spencer took to Twitter yesterday evening to share some choice photos from the occasion.

Being as low key in tweeting about them as they have been about their relationship as a whole, Fry and Spencer's photos show them cutting their cake and showing off their rings and matching green carnations and pins from the happy day.

Fry previously shared photos from their modest ceremony at the weekend, to which there appeared to be few involved but that didn't stop Twitter going into overdrive to congratulate the pair.

This is almost too sweet. We can't help but feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
