And sure why not, we're only great.

The popular adult website Pornhub have released a pretty comprehensive set of stats on the year 2014 in review, and what people were looking for when they visited their site. Sure, the clue is in the name (they're hardly looking for directions) but they've got all sorts of fancy analytics that give them insights on what exactly people want, and it seems that, at least in Scotland, we're pretty popular.

When it comes to the most searched terms in Scotland, a chart showing the differences between them and their near neighbours England highlighted the fact that the Scots are primarily searching for the term 'Scottish', but second on the list is 'Irish'.

Don't get too excited though (not like that) because it's not all good news for us, as it turns out that when it comes to per capita searches, Ireland ranks (we said Ranks, with an R) pretty highly. In fact, we're fourth in the world when it comes to being filthy perverts.

So, there you have it, we love porn. But not all the time, as it seems that big TVĀ events also have an impact on the porn search stats, with the best shows of the moment and the big events like the Oscars affecting traffic, while things like the World CupĀ Final and protests in Ukraine also slowed people down, if you catch our drift.

You can get an incredibly detailed breakdown of all sorts of stats over on the insights website including who the biggest stars are, as well as a whole load of other popular search terms. Obviously, it's not exactly safe for work...
