So The Spice Girls have scrapped a load of tour dates due to disagreements, but who's to blame? The Mirror is saying it's down to the Mels: "Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, 33, Baby Emma Bunton, 32, and Ginger Geri Halliwell, 35, wanted to play gigs in Argentina, Australia, South Africa and China. But Scary Mel B, 32 - mum of Angel, eight months, and Phoenix Chi, eight - and Sporty Mel C, 34, said they wanted out. A source said: 'Mel B wasn’t having any of it. She misses her husband and children and said she couldn’t go on. She’s also been flooded with US offers after her success on Dancing with Stars. Mel C agreed it was time to call it off. She was the least excited about the tour. She also feared it might jeopardise her solo career. The others wanted to go on, but couldn't persuade the Mels. Without them, there was no point'." Thankfully, this suits Victoria down to the ground: "I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls because I didn't want to send out a confused message (presumably that she still thought she could sing). The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mummy was a pop star once." Awww, nothing to do with the money, then. "I've been thinking about this for a long time. I'm not in the music industry any more. I'm in the fashion industry. I'm putting together a team of people now so it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month." In the interim she's still drumming up support for the group's final shows, saying "This is the last opportunity there will be to see the Spice Girls together." Until 2018.
