Of being repeatedly referenced in Sex and The City, the shoe designer moaned to Contactmusic:

"Well, we had a very good year last year, thanks to those stupid satin shoes (which Sarah Jessica Parker wore in the Sex And The City movie). That shoe saved our company. But, if people talk to me about Sex And The City, I get sick. The taxi drivers recognise me now. It becomes too much and I don't feel comfortable. I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer." Soooo, give money from  the sales directly derived from those who wouldn't have a bog who you were if it wasn't for SATC to charity then... or something.

Below are some snaps of Manolo launching his "exclusive new boutique" in Dublin's Brown Thomas last year. Would he have as many (if any) Irish based customers if it weren't for the constant Sex and The City repeats on Comedy Central? That's today's burning question.
