Paris Hilton and her quest to promote flavoured canned Prosecco in Germany is going from strength to strength if reports are anything to go by... After swinging from the rafters at the launch party she then tried to take a couple of Smurfs home. Two dwarf actors were dressed as the blue cartoon characters to promote Haribo's new Smurf sweets in Berlin. A source said: "When Paris saw the guys on the sweet stall she squealed. We heard her saying, 'Oh my, real life Smurfs. I always wanted one when I was a kid', before turning to her pal and asking, 'Can I take them home?' Then she added 'I didn't realise this is where they came from'." (The rational part of my brain - which is ENORMOUS by the way - is currently murmuring "it's OK Sheena, she was being sarcastic" in a comforting way. I'd like to believe it but the brain also recently tried to coerce me into writing about Kim Kashardian on a slow news day and is still insisting that regailing this obviously made-up story serves some purpose). The source continued: "She started talking about adding them to her collection (of pets, presumably) and bent down to talk to them in a babyish voice. The actors were not impressed at all. One of them just flipped out and started shouting at Paris. He told her in no uncertain terms that he was a grown man and she was being very patronising." The 26-year-old reportedly "appeared oblivious to the offence she caused and is now considering hiring actors to play Smurfs at her next birthday bash." Now, if you'll excuse me, me and the brain need to exchange some harsh words.
