You might think those two things are connected, and maybe they are, but according to Sia's recollection in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, they weren't and one merely followed the other.
The story came about when Sia was booked on 'SNL' the same night as Trump was during the 2016 Presidential Election, with Trump and his daughter-wife Ivanka Trump barging into Sia's dressing room afterwards to get a photo.
As Sia tells it, Ivanka had the camera in hand and ready to go when the singer called a halt and said, "Actually, do you mind if we don’t? I have a lot of queer and Mexican fans, and I don’t want them to think that I support your views.”
The then-presidential candidate wasn't offended or taken aback, and merely said "No problem, then don't." According to Furler, "It was as if he viewed me as protecting my brand... he respected that. I was like, ‘Thank you so much,’ and then I went into my dressing room and had crazy diarrhea.”
Not just regular, garden variety diarrhea. Oh no, that's not enough after coming into contact with Donald Trump. You get crazy diarrhea. No wonder people are desperate to get away from the White House as quick as they can.
It's all the crazy diarrhea that's doing the rounds.
