Since the crew that were known as Off the Ball left the airwaves of Newstalk in controversial circumstances, they've garnered a huge following on their podcasts, and their own TV show, and there's even more to come.
It seems that the guys at RTE quite like the lads from Second Captains, and with the success of their TV show and their podcasts, they're hoping to tap in to that potential with a new radio show that will bring the dulcet tones of the crew back to the national airwaves.
The show will be called Second Captains Championship, and it will take place every Sunday for the Summer on RTE Radio 1, according to a statement from RTE.

On top of their four weekly podcasts and doing some prep for the TV show, as well as writing in The Irish Times, that should keep the boys fairly busy, we imagine.
