Jesse Tyler Ferguson officiated the sweet occasion

There was a mini 'Modern Family' reunion for a very special reason over the weekend - one of the cast members has tied the knot!

Sarah Hyland and now husband Wells Adams looked to have finally lived out their wedding fantasy with an intimate ceremony with close friends and family at Sunstone Winery in California this past weekend.

The pair, who have been romantically linked since 2017 and engaged since 2019, had a number of famous guests join the ceremony, and one of them even got the chance to officiate the marriage.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who starred in 'Modern Family' alongside Sarah for the entire 11 seasons of the hit comedy series, took to Twitter to share his joy of officiating the marriage between the two love birds.

Jesse wrote: "It was an honour to officiate over your beautiful wedding. I love you both very much. Here’s to forever. [love heart emoji]

A number of other 'Modern Family' cast members were also in attendance, with Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Nolan Gould and Jesse's husband Justin Mikita also wishing the couple a happy send-off as they enter this new chapter in their adult lives. We're sure if Phil Dunphy (played by Ty Burrell) were also at the ceremony, he would have become a blubbering mess at how wholesome this all looks.

Sofia documented the wedding with four posts on her Instagram grid and some more on her Instagram Story.

Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams began their relationship online, after Wells sent her a message on social media. The pair were due to get married in 2020 but - like a lot of weddings out there - the special occasion was put on hold.

Sarah is the new presenter of 'Love Island USA' and also has a lead role in a 'Pitch Perfect' TV series alongside Jameela Jamil and her 'Modern Family' co-star Adam Devine. Wells is famous for his TV and radio presenting.
