Samsung have invented a transparent TV that's also a mirror

Finally, Samsung have managed to put a mirror inside your TV...or something.

Samsung's new 55-inch OLED displays are more than just a TV, as the company has managed to produce a transparent mirrored display that they say will revolutinise both retail and advertising. Basically, signs will look much better than they do now if people start investing in these, but it does look like something out of an episode of CSI.

According to The Verge, there's a whole lot that can be done with these types of displays, including using 3D cameras to turn them into a sort of virtual changing room, so you can waste even more time and money shopping online than before. Welcome to the future! It looks like Jerry Bruckheimer said it would.
