The follow-up to 'Normal People' and 'Conversations with Friends' is on the way
The third novel from Sally Rooney*, titled 'Beautiful World, Where Are You', is hitting shelves later this year.
Sally Rooney is the renowned author behind bestsellers 'Conversations with Friends' and 'Normal People'.
The latter was adapted into a hit series for BBC/Hulu starring Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones, making stars out of the two leads.
'Conversations with Friends' also got the green light to be made into a TV series.
The third novel from Sally Rooney will be published by Faber on 7 September 2021.
'Beautiful World, Where Are You' follows Alice and Eileen. The two best friends are nearing their thirties, and stay in touch across different places and very different trajectories.
As the summer approaches, they exchange emails about art, friendship, the world around them and the complicated love affairs unfolding in their own lives.
They say they want to see each other again soon. But what will happen when they do?
Alex Bowler, Publisher, acquired UK & Commonwealth and audio rights in a two-book deal from Tracy Bohan at the Wylie Agency.
Bowler said: "Sally’s new novel is a book of friendship and sex, art and faith, power and love.
"It absorbs you once again in the inner lives of characters with brilliant minds and aching hearts, while marking the next creative leap from a singular writer.
"The book scintillates with intelligence, empathy and, yes, beauty."
'Beautiful World, Where Are You' will be available in hardback, export trade paperback, ebook and audio.
