Rita doesn't usually keeps us guessing, but in this instance she is. So, in other words, the dude she's calling 'Poison' is either DJ Calvin Harris, Rob Kardashian, sports agent Dave Gardner, or someone else entirely.
The blonde - who is reportedly dating rapper/spawn of Tommy Richard Hilfiger admits the track is about her 'bad luck' in her personal life, but stopped short of admitting who she singles out in the track.
Chatting to Clash, the 23-year-old said: "It's is about my bad luck with love." And that's all we're getting in that regard. So what of the lyrics? Well, she only compares the person in question to a snake and the devil.
At one point Rita sings: "Like a serpent/From the Garden of Eden/You are like poison/Running in my blood. I open up my windows/I'm so sick of breathing/Every day I'm trying/But I don't remember who I was before you came."
While she's not revealing who specifically the ditty is about, it's safe to say she's had a lot of material to work with.
In June, Calvin publicly announced his split from Rita via Twitter and has reportedly offered other pop stars the songs he wrote originally for her second album.
Ex-boyfriend Rob has also been vocal about his relationship with Ora.
In 2012, the sock designer took to Twitter to rant about his failed romance, and even alleged Rita had cheating on him.
He wrote: "She cheated on me with nearly 20 dudes while we were together... But I mean 20?!!!"
Rita tried defending herself by saying she doesn't publicly spill about her relationships
She said: "When you are involved with someone for a while and they decide to express their feelings to the public, well, that's not my personal way of therapy but I guess everyone takes split-ups differently."
Rita obviously falls into the Adele/Taylor Swift category of dealing with split-ups. We'll wait with baited breath to see if Calvin will retort with a song featuring a series of morose beeps.
