We toyed with the notion of just doing a TV highlight for The Tudors today. Then we realised we wouldn't be able to post any related pictures and we do enjoy looking at Jonathan Reese Myers (AKA the most fantastical reincarnation of King Henry VIII ever created), especially when they involve him pulling shapes on The View. Thankfully, he managed not to look too wild-eyed at the Season Two World Premiere in New York last March. The bird who plays Anne Boleyn, however, more than made up for the lack of crazy action - posing as if her career depended on it. That or she's just trying to subtly administer a 'hip bump' to Jonathan's crotch area... Is it me, or do they resemble mannequins in the shop window of Reese? Who've possibly just emerged from a cubicle... But I digress - the second series of The Tudors, which "focuses on the life and romances of the young King Henry VIII" (*gasps* does this mean Jonathan Reese Myers is going to grow into a stunted, rotund, red-bearded man in his advancing years?!), commences tonight on TV3 at 10.00pm. There'll be swashbuckling, explicit sex scenes and pouting a plenty - sure what other show has that on offer of a Tuesday? You can even take in a bit of the local scenery as it's shot in Oireland, wouldn'tcha know.
