According to Us Weekly Magazine, it's all over between Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen, with Regina George being the one who reportedly made the call on the two year relationship that blossomed on the set of Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris.
The reasons for the split are as yet unknown, but McAdams recently spoke out about how the long distance thing was making it tough, but that they were doing their best to make it work, with Rachel based in Toronto and Sheen traveling between Wales and LA due to his previous relationship with Kate Beckinsale and their 14 year old daughter Lily. 'Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart - we rack up a lot of air miles - but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not.' she told The Sunday Telegraph last year, adding that 'Trying to establish roots somewhere is a bit of a joke'.
That's two celeb relationships sinking over long distance in one day. If mega-rich famous people with access to private jets and a luxury lifestyle can't make long distance work, what hope is there for the rest of us? Also, is it sort of wrong that a tiny part of us is glad that it makes Rachel McAdams free to go back to Ryan Gosling? Because that's the only silver lining here really.
