Here are the photos from Variety's 2nd Annual Power Of Women Luncheon, which took place yesterday at the Beverly Hills Hotel LA. And don't they all look, you know, powerful? I suppose it's easier to embody the term "powerful" when you have an abundance of money, and possibly a team of PAs.
Of course, there were the mother/actress powerhouses such as Katie Holmes, Amy (not sure about the dress) Adams, and Jennifer Garner. There were also the expected Maria Bellos, Eva Mendessesses, Kerry Washingtons, Brooke Burkes, and Anne Hathaways.
So far, so uniformly pretty. So it was refreshing to see 90210 emaciates rubbing shoulders with normal looking women, like Lily Tomlin, Ricky Lake and Camryn Manheim. And there I thought it was all going to be overly tanned, Botoxed to bits Stepfords in oversized shoes (and just when you thought she couldn't look more surprised...)
As for the men, well, they were sparse. Diane Lane brought Josh Brolin, and for that we're grateful. Apart from him, we have this man just tagged as "guest". I bet he made a beeline for McCord.
