Yep, soon your pet dog could be travelling in far better style than you in this animal terminal planned for New York's JFK. Sounds like a joke but this is very much real and will be the first ever air terminal for animals.
Aptly called The Ark, it's set to cater for 70,000 animals flying in and out of the airport every year, and will include flat screen televisions, splashing pools and massage therapy. Yes, MASSAGE THERAPY. You'll never get Rover out of there. There's even something called 'pawdicures' for crying out loud.
The cats will also have climbing trees, while penguins will even have their own' honeymoon suites'. We can only hope they have some kind of penguin wedding service too...
The 20,000-square-foot luxury "resort" will be run by the company Paradise 4 Paws, and will also have state of the art facilities for racehorses, cattle and sheep.
Although all this will come at a pretty penny, with overnight stay at a top end dog suite costing more than $100 a night.
Wouldn't mind a stay there ourselves....
