Sir Ian McKellen can do no wrong. Fact.
Last Thursday, the legendary actor shared a brilliant throwback picture of himself standing outside the Chichester Theatre in 1965. The photograph acted as a look back on the career McKellen has had since then, as he’s now taking to the stage as King Lear in a production at said theatre.
Given how well that picture went down, McKellen treated us to another #TBT this week, this time of a picture from 1986. Here he is pictured with the also glamourous, also iconic Susan Sarandon in Los Angeles (he thinks). The pair of them starred in Wild Honey, Anton Chekov's untitled first Play adapted by Michael Frayn, which was shown in the Virginia Theatre.
The rising stars look appropriately starry-eyed in the pic.
