The streets of most towns and cities around Ireland may have been near-deserted yesterday, but one man who threw caution to the wind - quite literally - was none other than Bill Clinton.
Clinton was due to attend talks in Belfast yesterday that were postponed because of the storm, and it seems that he headed straight to Dublin instead - where he's due to be presented with an honorary doctorate at DCU today.
A few people spotted him out and about and one guy even got a selfie, because sure why not.
Bill Clinton (contrary to @MetEireann advice) is out on the streets of Dublin - he just passed us in the window of a Spar on Merrion Row

Is there any greater story from #Ophelia than POTUS Bill Clinton wandering around a deserted Dublin City Centre on his lonesome?

Grabbing a quick sandwich in O'Brien's and spotted @BillClinton braving #Ophelia in Dublin #welcome #staysafe

You bump into the most random people in Dublin, especially during a hurricane @BillClinton out for a stroll on Dame st. As fresh as the day!
