For his latest role, Eddie Redmayne looks set to prove his versatility yet again, this time by playing a trans character.
Redmayne plays Lili Elbe (born Einar Wegener) in The Danish Girl, which tells the story of how Wegener made the journey to becoming a woman as one of the first people ever to do so. Fresh from an Oscar win just last weekend, Redmayne is sure to be getting plenty of plaudits for his role here too, if this picture is anything to go by.

Slated for release in 2016, the film also stars Amber Heard and Alicia Vikander, with the latter playing Einar's wife Gerda.
