The People of the Year Awards were held last night in CityWest Hotel in Dublin.
Among those honoured at the awards included Garda whistleblowers Maurice McCabe and John Wilson, equality activist Panti Bliss / Rory O'Neill, the St. Vincent De Paul charity and many others.
On hand to present Panti's award was none other than QI presenter and fellow national treasure Stephen Fry.
Great honour to present @PantiBliss with a #PeopleoftheYear award. So deserved.

Just recently, Taoiseach Enda Kenny and several Ministers paid a visit to Pantibar on Capel Street.
Panti Bliss' upcoming documentary, Queen of Ireland, was filmed on the night by director Conor Horgan and Kate McCullough.
